Internal Flame - risograph print

CA$25.00

Keep the embers burning and unleash the internal flame! 🔥

11x17” 3 colour riso print on 216gsm (max weight a riso machine can print on). All prints are signed and limited to 50.

Making artwork for riso printing is an exciting process. It is created in separate colour layers using different opacities to create new colours in the final print. In this piece no orange ink has been used, it was created by fading out opacities on both the pink layer and the yellow layer. The riso printer itself was created in Japan in the 1980’s, it’s seen a resurgence recently within the art world due to the incredible neon inks and unusual creation process.
